Program Summary
Gloxpad Centre for Community Development proposes this fellowship; through which we seek to establish youth food systems think tank in Rwanda as a platform for inclusive, innovative, transdisciplinary and solution-oriented food systems action and policy research. Selected candidates shall undergo a 6 months virtual training program and learn from Food System experts and Professionals around the globe. Post the virtual apprenticeship, successful candidates shall be able to launch their food systems career tracks through a hands-on field project as an outcome of their training in order to implement acquired knowledge and skills for not more than 6 months under the mentorship of Gloxpad. Successful ideation, design, execution, monitoring and assessment of the fellows’ pilot, will qualify these as the first Cohort of the Rwanda Youth Sustainable Food System Think Tank capable of creating sustainable and business-oriented solutions out of research.
