Program Summary

The DeCARB project is a pilot designed to be implemented by a consortium of parties. The project seeks to bridge the gap between research and practice by accelerating carbon farming and developing carbon credits markets as tools for greening competitive and inclusive food value chains in Rwanda. The project seeks to contribute towards the development of the green commodity value chains. The project is designed with an action research and practice orientation and it harnesses qualitative, quantitative and market centric participatory tools to achieve set objectives. It is embedded along the 3 sustainability dimensions with an inclusive people component, profit and planet aspects.
